Located in the up and coming South Yorkshire town of Wath upon Dearne, historically renowned as a coal mining area with many local places of interest and natural beauty.
The hotel is owned and operated by the husband and wife team of Dyan and David Elliott. Dyan being the perfect front of house host that everyone knows and loves with David being the artistic, creative and sometimes temperamental Chef de Cuisine having cultivated his skills after winning 'Master Chef of the Year' on the BBC in 1983 and worked in famous restaurants throughout the country. The hotel restaurant offers a full A La Carte and a seasonal changing Table D'Hote menu with snacks available in the bar.
The function room caters for sit down weddings and functions for up to 80 people and buffets up to 200 people. Christenings and Funerals also catered for. The whole hotel has been recently refitted and offers a variety of bedroom accommodation, including a four poster bridal room, family rooms and other executive rooms.
